Mediation is a process to bring a dead-end conflict to a consensual resolution
with the help of third parties. Many conflicts already contain the potential
for new development. This potential has to be taken up in order to resolve
the current conflict and at the same time enable the people involved as
well as the organisation to learn for the future. This way Mediation turns
into developmental conflict management and may become the basis for change
processes.

As Mediators we have no personal interest in any certain conflict solution
but we are supporters on the way to conflict resolution. The conflict
and its resolution stay in the responsibility of the parties involved.
Mediation allows them to openly speak about their related problems and
to resolve them. |

Mediation is useful for conflict resolution in the private environment
as well as in professional life and organisations.
The objective of any mediation process is an agreement to be signed and
implemented voluntarily by all conflict parties.
